Reaching Out, Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ To All People

And then He told them,
“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
- MARK 16:15

Vision

To love God, His Word, His presence, and His people through spirit-filled ministry to those most overlooked by modern society.

Mission

To share the grace and love of God with those overcoming addiction, poverty, loneliness, incarceration, abuse, illness, etc. We provide worship, fellowship, and Bible study opportunities to residents of assisted and independent living facilities, recovery centers, group homes, and more.

Strategy

God has called His children to go into all the world to seek and save those who are lost (Mark 16:15). His work is complete but ours continues as we seek to reach those who do not know what the finished work of the Cross and the empty tomb means for them. (Zechariah 7:11

We are to be witnesses of these truths first in our own communities (our own Jerusalem) (Acts 1:8). Before we can disciple nations (Matthew 28:18-20), we must reach, teach, and disciple the individuals of our own neighborhoods and communities. At Heart of God Ministries, this is our focus - to seek out and serve those who are lost within our own local area, so that they may rise up and impact their families, neighborhoods, county, state, and nation with a heart that has been changed and made new by the Gospel!

Everything we do centers on helping His sons and daughters to develop a personal, vibrant relationship with Him. We start by building a heart-level relationship with each individual, bringing the love of God into the felt realm. Then, we instruct individuals on their identity in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) and help bring Kingdom power to bear in their individual lives and situations as they get to know God and His Son, Jesus Christ (John 17:3). God has equipped us to release His power through His Word, prayer, and ministry and we follow the example of our Lord, ministering to the sick, the oppressed, the lost, and the lonely (Matthew 9:35-38).

And your ancestors refused to listen to this message. They stubbornly turned away and put their fingers in their ears to keep from hearing.
ZECHARIAH 7:11

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

And this is the way to have eternal life—to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one You sent to earth.
JOHN 17:3

Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And He healed every kind of disease and illness. When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to His disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him to send more workers into His fields."
MATTHEW 9:35-38

Jesus came and told His disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

MATTHEW 28:18-20

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
ACTS: 1:8

For "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring the Good News!"
